Ch1: Primary Elements

Form

Point is basically a dot which does not have length or width. It indicates a specific position. If the points are gathered, it becomes a line. A point can be a focal point, or it can be a point for radical shape.

Line

Line is created by points. Line can be straight and curved lines. There are basically horizontal lines, vertical lines, and diagonal lines. Straight lines are geometric, and the curved lines are organic. If the lines are connected each other, it creates a shape.

Plane

A plane is created by lines. It is two dimensional, and it has length and width. If the planes are connected in angles, it creates a form (volume).

Volume

Volume is created by planes. It is three dimensional, and it has length, width, and depth, which creates form and space.
